Local processing and server processing

The website is delivered from servers, while supported tool code reads selected files in the open browser tab and prepares downloads there. This reduces the need for a document upload, but it does not make every browser or device situation risk free.

Use a trusted device, keep your browser updated, and confirm a tool limitation before processing a sensitive original.

File retention

ToolPDFs does not provide document storage for supported local operations. Generated downloads are handled by your browser and device. If a future feature needs server side file handling, its workflow and data handling should be described separately.

Accounts, analytics, and payments

Free use does not require an account. Accounts and Pro entitlements require the information needed to sign in and manage access. Analytics may record product interactions without the contents of selected documents. Payments are handled at checkout by the payment provider, not by the browser based file tools.
