What counts as an operation?
An operation is one completed use of a tool, such as merging a set of PDFs, compressing one PDF, or resizing one image. Browsing tools, selecting files, changing settings, validation errors, and failed processing do not use an operation.

Processing and current limits
This supported operation runs in your browser after you select an input. Free use allows 25 MB files and shares 20 completed operations per day across tools. Pro removes those product limits, but browser memory and device performance can still limit large files.
Review security and data handling and current limits before processing a sensitive or important original.
Formats and limitations
Input and output are PDF files.
Pages are rasterized, so selectable text, links, forms, and fine vector detail may not be preserved. Large files depend on browser memory.
Common uses
- Meet an email attachment limit.
- Reduce the size of a scanned report.
- Prepare a smaller review copy.
Features
Frequently asked questions
Why can the compressed PDF lose selectable text?
The tool turns every page into a JPG image before building the new PDF. Text and interactive document features are therefore flattened into page images.
Will the output be smaller?
Not necessarily. Results depend on the source PDF and the selected settings. A file that is already optimized can become larger.
