Terms and Conditions

ToolPDFs provides free browser based document tools and an optional paid Pro tier. Free tools do not require an account. An account is required to start a Pro checkout and to sync or restore account based Pro access.

We may change, improve, add, or remove features to maintain the service. We will not intentionally charge you for a feature without showing the relevant price and checkout terms first.

ToolPDFs uses Google sign in to verify identity. You must provide accurate account information and keep access to your Google account secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your ToolPDFs account.

ToolPDFs uses the verified Google account identifier as the account identity. We may suspend access if we reasonably believe an account is being used fraudulently, in a way that harms the service or others, or in breach of these terms.

You keep ownership of documents you select or create with ToolPDFs. The browser based tools are designed to process supported documents on your device. You are responsible for keeping copies of important files and checking the output before relying on it.

Do not use ToolPDFs with documents if you are not authorised to process them, or if your employer, client, law, or contract prohibits the use of browser based tools.

You must not use ToolPDFs to:

• break the law or infringe another person's rights
• create fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful documents
• interfere with, overload, probe, or bypass the service or its security controls
• resell, scrape at scale, or present the service as your own without permission
• use automated methods that unreasonably affect the availability of the service

ToolPDFs Pro is sold through Dodo Payments, the Merchant of Record for web purchases. Dodo handles checkout, payment processing, taxes, receipts, refunds, and payment related enquiries. Its terms and policies apply to your transaction with Dodo.

You must be signed in before starting Pro checkout. The account used at checkout is the account ToolPDFs uses to associate the resulting Pro entitlement after a verified Dodo payment event. A payment is not treated as Pro activation solely because a browser reaches a success page.

Monthly and annual plans are recurring subscriptions. They renew unless cancelled through the Dodo subscription management method made available with your purchase, subject to the terms shown at checkout. If you cancel, access normally continues through the period you have already paid for, unless Dodo or applicable law requires a different result.

A lifetime plan is a one time purchase with no recurring renewal. Lifetime access means access to the applicable Pro service while ToolPDFs continues to make that service available, subject to these terms and any lawful service changes. It does not create a guarantee of perpetual operation, support, or every future feature.

The current refund and cancellation rules for web purchases are published on the Refunds and Cancellation page. For a billing question, use the Dodo receipt or subscription management details first, or contact ToolPDFs support with your order information.

Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.

Earlier Pro purchases may have used an activation key tied to a browser. ToolPDFs keeps that legacy path available for existing customers where supported. New account based purchases are managed through the signed in account and are not automatically linked to a legacy key.

ToolPDFs, its branding, interface, code, and original content belong to ToolPDFs or its licensors. You may use the service for its intended purpose, but you may not copy, distribute, modify, or exploit the service except where law permits or we give written permission.

If you send feedback, you allow us to use it to improve ToolPDFs without an obligation to compensate you.

ToolPDFs is provided on an as available basis. Browser support, device resources, internet access, and third party services can affect availability and results. ToolPDFs is not legal, tax, accounting, medical, or professional advice.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ToolPDFs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost profit damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including mandatory consumer rights.

You can stop using ToolPDFs at any time. You can ask us to delete your account as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, nonpayment, or a material breach of these terms.

Termination does not remove payment, refund, tax, or record keeping obligations that already arose. It also does not prevent either party from exercising rights available under applicable law.

We may update these terms when the service or applicable requirements change. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means you accept the updated terms to the extent allowed by law.
